Here is a look at the radar at 11 p.m. Thursday night. Severe weather is finally winding down, so maybe I'll get some sleep tonight.
I've had a ton of comments from viewers, even some phone calls about my dog, Millie, showing up on TV last Saturday night. It has created quite a stir around the office and Roger Cornish is going to feature her in his AnswerBack segment Sunday night at 10. You'll get to see her up close during his segment. I don't know if she will be a regular on the weekend shows, but I'd be interested in your feedback. If you think seeing Millie more often is a good idea, let me know. I won't tell her though because I'm afraid it will just go to her head and she'll be begging for more milk bones. I'm always looking for ways to spice up the weather, so maybe a dog is the answer. Millie doesn't know any fancy tricks, but she is very well mannered and definitely loves to be around people. I hope you will get a chance to watch Sunday night and look for her in the weather center in the future. Now if I could just teach her how to forecast, we would be in great shape.
Have a great weekend!
(By the way, this is post #50 for me on my blog, so I guess we've reached a milestone)

Ross, I don't care for dogs during a weather forecast but I think you do a fantastic job. For years I have wondered what KWCH would do if Merril left, but now I know. Keep up the great work.
Can you put last Saturday's forecast on your blog so we can see it...we missed it! :(
Millie Rocks! Keep her on the show!
I think it's great that you show Millie! It's nice to know that the people we watch on TV and bring into our homes every night are just like us and love their pets too! Keep up the awesome work!
Considering the current positive attitudes that people have towards dogs in our society, I say you can't go wrong by having the dog on every once in a while, at least during the weekends. I noticed on that new "reality" show on FOX, the T.V. station that is being featured has a "weather" dog maybe Millie can be come the weekend weather dog for KWCH.
Ross, Millie is a great addition to your forcast, please continue!! If she is hiding under a desk, we better hit the basement!!! We watch you at channel 12 every day, good job!!
I think that if the Weather team needs a mascot...Millie would be the perfect one. She is so cute.
I think Millie would be a wonderful addition, dogs help with stress and our weather can be stressful at times. Millie gives us peace of mind even when the weather is bad.
Hey Ross!!! We love Millie and think she should stay!! What a great dog to have and no matter what anyone says, having a dog around boosts everyone's mood and makes work more fun. You all do a great job at KWCH.
Of course Mille should hang out in the studio with you! I only wich my dog was as well behaved as her.
