Severe Threat Today (Tuesday):
The next wave of storms should get going in western Texas and Oklahoma. In time, those storms will track east/northeast and begin to move into southwest Kansas. Biggest dangers in our area will be high winds and large hail, along with flooding rainfall.
Later into the night:
This big batch of storms will continue east and reach south central Kansas after midnight. As the storms continue traveling east, a potential of high winds will exist. We also have to watch for more HEAVY rainfall. Another few inches of rain will be possible.
A chance for severe weather will setup for Wednesday evening across central and south central Kansas. The rough weather will move out later Wednesday night and we will FINALLY be through with this latest batch of stormy weather. The end of the week looks much calmer.
