Active week

It has been a very busy week for the Storm Team. Some very impressive storms Sunday, Monday, and then Tuesday, one storm just popped up in Cowley county that could be seen from northern Kansas. We've received some great pictures from viewers and I'll post some of them here.

It is definitely feeling like summer. Still in the upper 80s at 10 p.m. at night is definitely summerlike weather.

I'll be away for a few days enjoying my new nephew. If you are familiar with previous blog entries, you already know about Wade. He now has a brother, Pate. Should be exciting. Stay cool for the rest of the week and into the weekend. Millie is loving her haircut when it gets this hot. I may be in the harvest field at the end of next week. Hope the weather is hot and dry for the farmers.

Hey Ross,
Glad that you had a great time on your float trip & awesome to hear about Pate, congrats on the new addition to the family! I'm sure that Wade will enjoy having a little brother too. I know that I'm definately not quite ready to add a new addition to my family, one is enough at the moment. Well have fun harvesting in this heat, hopefully their isn't too much humidity as the heat should help keep the crops moisture low. Take care and keep in touch!
