It's the Holiday Season... Busy Times

This blog entry is full of pictures because there is so much going on at this time of the year and I wanted to share it with you. First, I had a great opportunity to ride around in a limo Monday night and check out some of the Christmas lights around town. I have to say I'm a little amazed at how many people don't decorate anymore, but the limo ride was fun and it was cold Monday night... which is why we are all huddled together in this picture.

A faithful blogger, Ty, sent me some pictures of Christmas lights around town. I'm posting two of them here and, the first one is from the College Hill area and the second is from Market street. Some people work hard to decorate for the holidays... just like Clark Griswold in Christmas Vacation. It is my favorite holiday movie.

Finally, I had a chance to visit Beech Elementary school Wednesday afternoon. Thanks to Ron Hobert for inviting me to the school and as always, the kids had some very good questions. One little girl was asking about the static electricity that always seems to catch us off guard when reaching for the light switch. Maybe I'll explain the answer in another entry.
Well, it's time to finish some last minute shopping and then wrap the presents. I'm not very good at wrapping, so if someone would like to wrap them for me, I'd probably let them. I'll be back on Saturday! Millie and I have a Christmas picture. I'll post it this weekend, so check back for it!

At least I am not the only one that has a terrible time raping. My family members can always tell who the gift is from by just looking at the raping paper.

That's a great picture of the Limo Ride. It looks like your Crew had a grand time... Have a Merry Christmas Ross and Millie!

We certainly enjoy Ross’ visit to Beech Elementary yesterday. He did a fabulous weather presentation and he was very good with the kids. The kids were very excited to ‘see a famous person’ which made them pay very close attention. I hope Ross and Millie have a very Merry Christmas and hope he can come back to Beech Elementary.

I can sympathize. I finished my shopping today, but still don't have a single thing wrapped. Not only that, but I had to take my brother out to help him finish his shopping and I got suckered into wrapping his too. May as well bring your stuff over...what's a few more gifts to wrap!
Hope you have a Merry Christmas!

Hey Ross,

I hope you liked ALL the pics. I was glad to see you were able to post some of them. Also I am not sure on your email space capacity, so please drop me an email sometime and let me know if I am filling up your box when I send you pics like that. Also I will see what I can get you regarding pics from our recent winter storms as well.

I hope you enjoyed your limo ride, that is something I've been considering doing with family. You look like you were freezing out there, as my mother would say, "Where was your coat?" HA HA!

Keep safe and Seasons Greetings to ALL!
